Clive Owen hints he's the new James Bond?

In a report in the IESB movie rumor site, Clive Owen at the "Sin City" premiere on March 28th, for the first time doesn't deny his involvement with Bond. The report even claims an official announcent could be expected as soon as next week after the release of "Sin City".

During all the recent interviews Clive Owen has given since his Golden Globe win earlier this year, and his Oscar nomination for Closer, every time he had been asked he'd always been denying his involvement or dismissing everything as only a rumour. Last night though, at the premiere of "Sin City" something was definitely different in his attitude.

In fact the video accompanying this report on IESB is particularly funny in the way Owen tries --for the first time-- to avoid the question, with a big smile and the enigmatic reply "I'll be busy for a while"...

This definitely sounds promising and admittedly puts a smile on my face as well, as Clive would be most welcome as the 6th actor to portray Bond, James Bond, in "Casino Royale" no less.
